THIS IS ME…
Born a 90’s baby and raised up in small town Wyoming. Life was running through the sprinkler by day and riding bikes by night; until those corner street lights came on of course, then it was home bound, my younger sisters in tow. If I had to give you one photo to sum me up this would be it. A simple life. A sister and daughter. A backyard dweller. A daydreamer.
Fast forward thirty years and here I am, moved back to small town Wyoming (my husband’s dirt road biking grounds) and our newborn boy in tow. We want a simple life. Photo albums full of summer evenings in the backyard and a boy on his bike kind of life. I guess that’s what draws me to photography; the way a photo can capture a raw and brief moment like all those that captured my childhood. It’s our way of remembering so much of our life. Our only way of stopping time.
A fulfilled life is one we all long for. But what is that life, what does it look like and how do we get it.

I've yearned for years to find a passion of my own that would make me eager to wake in the morning and take up my time long into the night. That passion has taken me longer to find than others but I am finding that fulfillment in capturing photos. Like many others I find photographs to be a piece of artful history; a raw moment captured in someone's life.
Robert Frank once said, "when people look at my pictures I want them to feel the way they do when they want to read a line of a poem twice."
My hope is to create for you just that; a piece of poetry, a work of art, a family heirloom, a feeling of nostalgia. A photograph can do so much more than speak a thousand words...let me help capture that for you.
Let’s make poetry together…
